Sydney University Sport held its Annual Blues Dinner at the end of November. A Blue is the highest Sporting Award of Sydney University with around 30 to 50 only awarded annually.
This year Phoebe Teale and Olivia Nattey were awarded Blues for reaching the standards required in rowing for this award,

The Blues Dinner also saw the award of Golds to people who have made an outstanding contribution to a university sporting club.
This year Boat Club alumnus , Charles Moore was honoured for his long term support of the Boat Club from the club using his office as a fundraising base for a tour of New Zealand in 1971 to his intervention in 1987 that allowed the club to re=open by repairing the damaged staging and pontoon - after it has been closed for six months.
Charles was acknowledged for his long standing and continual assistance to the Boat Club in its equipment program, in supporting under age national representatives and as a leader in philanthropy within our club.
It should also be mentioned that Charles has also been a long time supporter of London Rowing Club. Charles worked in London in the 1960's and represented London Rowing Club at two Royal Henley regattas.
