Four Sydney University Boat Club rowers were awarded sporting blues at the Annual Blues Dinner held in the Great Hall last Saturday. Thirsty six students were awarded blues for outstanding performances over the approximately 45 sporting clubs of the university.
From the Boat Club, Campbell Watts, Jake Bicknell, Tom Whitehead and Jack Cook were awarded Blues for performances which included wins in the Australian Championships in the U23 Men’s Eight, The U21 Men’s Pair and the NSW Youth Eight which won the interstate regatta by over eight seconds and wins in the Oxford and Cambridge Cup eights at the Australian University Championships.
