School Winter Rowing Program 2024

SUBC welcomes school and junior rowing members to join us over the winter period for our Winter Program 2024. SUBC prides itself on inviting young rowers to join and developing them ahead of their return to school for the 2024/25 season, without impacting their commitment to school rowing once they return.

Who's this Program for?

  • Those who are looking to improve their skills, sweep or scull, make it to the next crew, or prepare for that next step in their school rowing pathway.

  • Year 12 rowers thinking of continuing after school and transitioning into club rowing.

Dates:

The program will commence the week beginning Monday 13th of May and conclude on the 14th  of July.

Some athletes in year 11 or 12 may be offered the opportunity to continue training with the club at the conclusion of the program.

A tour to the USA will be offered to the top athletes, from the 1st - 10th of July. More details regarding this will be distributed over the coming weeks.

Weekly Commitment:

Athletes participating in the program will be able to select 3 days to train each week from a range of days and times including mornings and afternoons during the week, and Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Cost:

The program will cost $650 per athlete

This includes:

  • Coached sessions

  • SUBC Zootie

  • SUBC Shirt

  • SUSF Membership

Admission:

  • Due to the large number of applications we receive, we aren't always able to take everyone, however, we do strive to do our best to accept as many of you as possible because we understand how important your development is. There will be some questions in the signup form about your performance so we can get an understanding of where you are at.
